OT: Spray foam residue

After scrapping off most of the spray on the foundation there was a residue left.  So far I have tried acetone, alcohol and lacquer thinner.
Any ideas what I should try next?

No advice but reminds me of when I started back in the trade ( 1980 ) spray foam came in two containers   When you mixed it, the foam activated …. There was two big containers on the shelf , looked the same, one of the apprentices thought he’d clean up the shop, pour one container into the other…. He tightened the lid and chemistry happened, was able to get it to the dumpster before it exploded, filled half the dumpster lol

I do not like cleaning up excess foam, it’s such a PITA we rarely use it , there are other ways to insulate

My Dad would have used gas on a rag.  While smoking a Pall Mall.

But, I don't recommend it.  Smoke after.

And then he would have tossed the rag onto the briquettes to light the grill for burgers and dogs.

And if you do get it on your hands don’t panic and try to wash it off in the brand new sink you just installed…and don’t bring the topic up around my wife.

As others have said, wire brush and then repaint the concrete.

I just used a bunch today.  I have a small gap in my BBQ island were a mouse got in.  I filled it with dirt and packed it.  The mouse dug through that.  This time I stuffed the gap with steel wool, then sprayed in insulation foam.  Hopefully that keeps the little bugger out.

If acetone and other common household chemicals doesn’t remove it, the next step more aggressive is methylene chloride which you can’t buy pure but it is in the good paint removers.  Look at the labels.  Obviously you will remove the paint also.
