My wife’s friend has a small farm, kind of a hobby farm where she grows a ton of vegetables, raises icelandic sheep, heritage turkeys and chickens for eggs. She came home the other day with some fresh eggs and mixed in are some turkey eggs. Maybe a goose egg too, not sure.
Has anyone eaten turkey eggs?
Has anyone eaten turkey eggs?
Love you bro!

I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

I’ve not had turkey eggs but have had duck and guinea eggs. Pretty much the same as chicken but a little richer.

My wife has Turkeys and chickens for eggs. Turkeys don’t lay near as much as chickens. We might get 2 a week,( only 2 Turkeys) and the shells are harder to crack . There is a little richer taste to the turkey eggs.Have not tried them in any baking, but scrambled and just fried , they are good.

Duck eggs are great for baking......put them in cakes, rolls, cornbread, etc.

Brings back memories of my university days in Yorkshire, England way back when...
Room mate wanted to make brined duck eggs, went to local market but several vendors couldn't apprehend what duck's egg was, finally I stepped in and said dook's egg, aha!canuckland -
