Pork Chops

My wife asked, “What’s for dinner”. I tell people, I’m “Food Service” and she’s “Buildings and Grounds” (until it involves electrical or plumbing), neighbors thank her for raising property values with our manicured yard.
Well, back to the BGE, I found two 1 1/2” pork chops in the freezer, thawed them and marinated them in Teriyaki, brown sugar, bourbon and some fresh sage from the garden.  Grilled them direct, at the felt line to 145F, brushed with a little Teriyaki and bourbon along the way. Covered them for a bit and along with a fresh roasted beet salad and some buttered rice, we had a nice meal on our porch.  Of course, a wee bit of bourbon was available to add to the experience.
