Teal Swan

I had never heard of this lady before today.   Someone shared a snippet of video from a documentary (The Deep End - on Hulu) today that was nutso to me.  This trailer gives you some idea:

She has a pretty hefty following on social media.  Over a million followers on YouTube, more than that on Facebook, she's written books, holds retreats for people, sells art, you name it.  She fancies herself a kind of Deepak Chopra type of "spiritual leader" and, well, ... it's all obviously a bunch of BS.    She's just making sh!t up, but I guess she's charismatic enough to suck people in.   I mean she claims to be a clairvoyant and to have ESP and all kinds of crap.   I think for most of you if you watch a bit of the video above you'll pick up on the BS pretty quickly.

It always surprises me that so many people can fall for stuff like this.  I did a bit of a deep dive and here's a piece on her from a couple of years ago that's pretty good:

The numbers they quote for her are outdated.  Since that time her following has really grown.   Crazy sh!t.
