Denver Steak

The in-laws took the kids this afternoon to go camp out at the farm tonight so decided to cook up a nice meal. A buddy of mine told me his new favorite cut was the Denver. I had never heard of it. When he told me about it I decided to goto the SRF website to see if they had it. Bingo. Ordered it and it’s been in the deep freezer for a couple of months. Figured tonight was the night. Seasoned with just salt and pepper. For sides made some garlic and chive mashed taters and some butter mushrooms. Good god was this delicious.

We buy a complete chuck roll and break it down ourselves so we end up with Denver steaks. OP is correct that they are great. I am not sure why they are not more popular.LBGE, Stoker WiFi, UDS, Pit Barrel Cooker
