Just wow.  I bet the $50 snake avoidance class is looking pretty cheap right now.

Hopefully the dog survives, and you can help manage the pain.

Good luck and I hope the pup makes it through.   Last year on a quail hunt my buddy’s GSP got hit on the snout by a rattler while retrieving a bird.   Ultimately had to be put down.    Less than ideal outcome
