PSA for the pups… It’s still summer people

Ladies and Gentlemen. Just a reminder it’s still summer time and it’s a dumb idea to take your dog running for 7 miles at noon while you’re biking the same distance… 
Also not a good idea to leave your already respiratory challenged dog (frenchie) outside in the heat unattended for 3-4 hours when it’s 97 with 90% humidity..

2 preventable stupid deaths that we’re unavoidable.

Don’t be dumbarses people. 

I would say nothing surprises me anymore after 8 years of exclusive ER experience… but that would be a lie… just shake my head at how stupid a good portion of the human population is..

Only take my little girl for a short walk early in the morning when it’s cool.  She’s in the house the rest of the day!

I don’t take my Boxer for walks all summer. He has his own door to the backyard though.

I'm so glad it feels like we are starting to get into a fall pattern here. Temps and humidity are down.  However, the way the weather bounces around so much here we can get back to 100 degree weather next week. This has been the nastiest summer I can remember in a long time.
