My effort for NCWD

no wood chunks, 250º for 30" and flipped
on the left is a clone of a regional chain, Applebee's blackened recipe, center is Dizzy Pigs Dizzy Dust & Swamp Venom and on the right is SLAPS (Squeal like a pig) rub

Applebee's Blackened Chicken Recipe 
Cajun Spice Blend
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper

pretty darn good for who it was for!  :D

    Way to use the day to run with different rubs,  Youth has tremendous upsides.  I was (key word) gonna give two different rubs a go...then old age rolled in.
    Great finish right there.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    hard to say . . . all were good  SLAPS had a nice flavor with small sugary finish at the end, Applebees rub had a good flavor with a slight bite at the end along with the DP combo rubs.  HTH
