The Butcher Shoppe - Wagyu Brisket Sale

I have never used them, but some folks might be interested.  I have been meaning to get some Japanese A5 from them.

To help with the various beef grading systems out there, here you go:

And below contains the BMS scale used by SRF and others:
    Grading - Lone Mountain Cattle

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

@Ozzie_Isaac - I called them (no website).  The shoppe is located in Pensacola, FL. I was (key word) all set to place a brisket order based on the above but here's more info-average weight is around 16 lbs.  Product ships on Mon or Tues of each week.  And the deal breaker-shipping costs (2 day ground) was quoted as $50 +/-.  That was too much for me...

Ah man, thank you for the additional details.  Too bad shipping is so high and limited shipping days.  SRF really has us spoiled for brisket.

I still plan to try some A5 on their next sale.

@lkapigian - you talking about grinding A5 for sausage?? You need an intervention.  B)
I've never done crack but A5 in small quantities is dang near addictive.

They are about 3 hrs from the house.  And only about 35 mins from the annual beach trip on the Alabama coast. I love these guys. An absolute candy store for folks like us.  Incredible meats, rubs, and smoking woods.

I'll be down there in early Sept. and we will load up then.

They can be found on FB and are genuinely good people. The owner makes a point to come out and give you personal assistance, or has his staff go above and beyond to help you with your purchase if he is occupied.

On shipping. $30 is steep for me.  $50 would probably make me pass too!

I have cooked a few of these. As mentioned earlier, very rich, but always enjoyable.
