I liked Canada a lot more before you let all of the geese loose. Before that ... It was all squirrel, squirrel, squirrel down here, now it's more like squirrel, goose, squirrel, goose, squirrel goose. We knew we had all the squirrels but we we were totally ignorant of what squirrel poop looked like. Now that we have all of the geese, and we can clearly see what their poop looks like, it's making us question if squirrels even poop at all, and one has to wonder ... if that was your goal, couldn't you have just sent us some poutine and grade a maple syrup, with a little note about the squirrel poop?

You took a risk sending the geese, not a lot of us can pick up on such a subtle message like that eh?

Congratulations to all our members from the Great White North.  Enjoy year 155.
And a bit of history - Canada Day used to be known as Dominion Day but that was changed-see below-
"Dominion Day is no more when July 1 becomes Canada Day in 1982. For more than a century, every July 1 in Canada was called Dominion Day. But after patriating the Canadian Constitution on April 17, 1982, Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau wanted to change the name of the national holiday to Canada Day. "

There was plenty of Canadian craft on hand too. Also made a caramelized onion, roasted garlic and two-cheese mashed potatoes, but didn’t get a shot.

Had our belated family Canada Day get together at our daughter's.

SIL made roasted bone marrow with sour dough baguette...

    I made wings and MSM

swmbo made salad, and Thai sticky rice mango with coconut cream.

Happy July 4 to our US friends.

I love you right down to your marrow. I don't know what MSM is but it looks good with mustard, but so do hot dogs though, or any party dress made entirely out of thin layers of ham, or the ever popular pancetta pants. If MSM is some form of meat garment, covering it with mustard won't hide it. Once I eliminate  the pancetta pants, the ham skirts and the hot dogs, we're going to have discuss this MSM thing.

I feel bad I missed this.  Canada is very lucky.  Canada Day on July 1st, and then 4th of July on, well July 4th.  Probably have boxing day the following week too.

Don't tell your problems to people.  80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.
