Freezer dive and leftovers

My wife is back to traveling every week. Her final words as she’s leaving for the airport are always  “eat cheap “. 

So, I did a freezer dive this morning and found a Bavette steak. Cool. Thawed it out. 

Had some russet potatoes laying around. 

All I had to buy was sour cream. 

BGE grilled Bavette 
whiskey peppercorn cream sauce 
baked potato

    Did you grill the potatoes? I wonder if you wrap them in foil how they would do?

    Not a steak/sauce guy either. But this sounded good tonight and I had all the ingredients. 

    Tater in the oven   Best baked potato ever.

    Bavette steak-definitely worth a run and more.  Great beef flavor and depending on the source-tenderness.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
