Marinated Pork Butt

I marinated a pork butt in anticipation of preparing the Yukon Ron way with peach preserves. Something came up and I was unable to smoke on the BGE. Can I pull from the marinate and freeze to use another time? It has never been frozen and has not reached the use by date of June 4.
