Anyone know of a place that’s serves great food (of any style) overlooking the water? Preference for causal over stuffy, in ambience and not necessarily in price. Thanks.

I grew up in Orlando, used to go fishing on Lake Tohopekaliga, and I worked at Disney for 11 years - so I have spent a lot of time in that area (although it has been a while). I'm not aware of any waterfront restaurants in Kissimmee (unless you are looking for a bait shop) other than those at Disney Village.
A google search found one that is closed today...

Sorry, but I don't know of waterfront places in Kissimmee. Just drive 1 hour west to Tampa bay area and there are a ton of them.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Sorry @GrateEggspectations our days of restaurant hopping ended a long time ago so any of my recommendations would be totally outdated. Drive east or west for waterfront dining establishments.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

Thanks, all. I’ll be heading to Tampa as well as some of the beaches surrounding the area in the coming days, so will be sure to hit a waterfront spot soon.

@GrateEggspectations - I do have a Tampa recommendation though it is not waterside. You need to do this at some point in your life:

@SamIAm2
Thanks for that! Looks like a great spot. I’ll keep that in mind for later this week if conditions appear right - as there’s someone I’d like to treat to a very nice meal down here. -
SWMBO and I did that quite a few years ago. We got to take a tour, saw the prep areas downstairs, steaks being cut for the evening. Got done in time for the first course. You also need to save room for desert (on second floor). They go the extra mile, she wanted onion soup without onions. She got onion soup sans onion. Oh, and do call for reservations early as I recall they were plenty busy. We stayed at Tampa Waterside Marriott on concierge floor and they took care of the reservations for us. Hope you get to enjoy it.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

Bern's is an institution, but reservations are needed months ahead. They do have a nice bar and bar menu, for walk-ins. I believe you can order from the regular menu, too. The dessert room upstairs is awesome.
