    A decade and change ago when I last dealt with this, the advertised costs were well within around 5% of each high end school across the country.  I can only assume the pattern is unchanged.
    The aid trip-wires/incentives had more variation. Need blind or need only vs merit or both were more prevalent than the cost differences.  
    Glad to be well beyond that CF.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    I don’t work in admissions or have anything to do with it. 

    As far as I understand that article, the institutions are being accused of doing something they’re permitted to do under existing federal law.  That is certainly an interesting approach to litigation.
