  • For those of you who haven’t been able to participate in one of these in the past because your Friday nights have been too “busy”, consider your bluff called!

Apparently, I struggle with the simple things.  Checking my calendar, I realized yesterday was not Thursday.  I am super excited to have a few more days of vacation!

Maybe I can share my new found fascination with watches?  My wife got me my second watch for Christmas, and I am ready to get another.  I think this hobby may rival her bag collection.

For certain- styles, colour, expected usage, accuracy/movement, analog/digital, band composition, left or right wrist, worn face up or down, shock characteristics, water proof pedigree and associated clothing style to name a few things to offer up.
Another learning topic on the horizon.
Thank you professor for offering this one-off on Thursday 12/30/2021 commencing at 5 PM (EST).  Roll taking and any exams not necessary.   =)

A lot of the guys on my home theater forum are heavily into watches, but they collect multi-thousand-dollar pieces, its a bit worse than Eggccesories.  I bought one that looked nice:

...but it was under $200, that's more my speed.
I have an Apple computer, laptop, tablet, and now iPhone, but since I don't yet have an Apple Watch, TV, earbuds or "appliances", I'm still not an Official "fanboi".  But I'm a fan.   =)

I am learning about watches, I am a neophyte.  I have two Shinola's now.  One Quartz and one automatic.  I like that they are assembled in Detroit and I really like the looks.  That is how simple I am on my decision making right now.  Plus, they are pretty sturdy.

Not watch snob worthy, but I really like them and they have started me down a deep deep rabbit hole!

I feel nekked without a watch.  I bought a Samsung digital....beautiful watch, but not very useful.  Then I ditched my Android and went to the dark side with an iphone 13 max pro and SWMBO just happened to have an apple watch that she didn't use (5 series).  Bought some manly bands for it and I LOVE IT.  Love the phone too.  I regret not going to iphone years ago...I'm apple ipad/mini/MBP on the computer side anyway, makes sense.

My lesbian neighbors got me a nice Timex for my birthday, though I think they totally misunderstood when they asked what I wanted and I said “ I wanna Watch “

For years the only watch I wore was a Seiko dive watch. Even when I wasn't diving anymore, I still loved that watch. Then some SOB stole it. I found a really nice tungsten and black ceramic watch branded from a small chain jewelry store, and I wore that until Ynette bought us both Fitbit watches. Now that only comes off for charging. We are sluts for steps!
XL BGE in San Jose, CA. Also a Pit Barrel Cooker, a Cal Flame P4 gasser, and lots of toys including the first ever Flame Boss 300 in the wild. And a new Flame Boss 500.
