Two upper and two lower vents!Canugghead said:
I would go with Primo XL too if I'm starting over. Perhaps even better if they make it with two upper and two lower vents, kind of like PK Grill.Mr1egg said:I have a bge and decided to go bigger, almost bought an xl or a big joe. Ended up buying a primo xl and haven’t regretted a thing. By far the best shape and design. Think about it, imagine a regular bbq which is circular in shape, stupid right?Primo will be up and coming in the near future with all the other kamados following suit I believe.canuckland -
It’s nice and a whole new level at $6,500.00Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

So many new rigs have come out in the past year. I'm shopping for one that won't break, thus eliminating the warranty issues (my local dealer quit BGE), but still cooks like a Kamado. Looking at the Everdure 4K, as it has some cool features like electric element to light lump, opening to add smoking woods, etc. Local dealer has them in 5 colors, and is discounting to $1599.

For nearly seven grand it had better blow me every time I walk up to it.California

That Shokunin looks terrific, seems to be well designed. But for the money you could get two BGEs with all the accessories, even a Challenger cart to hold them, and still have enough left over for a neighborhood BBQ.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

That looks like a Yeti Cooler when you open it up, big on the outside, small on the inside. 2" of insulation really hurts the grillestate.

But it’s definitely not Stainless Steel. It’s cast aluminum. With our salty local air, I’m afraid oxidation will be terrible. A local place had 1 on the floor a couple years ago. It’s a beautiful grill!Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
What a hunk of a ****, I can’t imagine it cooking any better than stuff out now.People turn out amazing cooks without insulation and extra vents.-FATC1TY
