Last year, during the Covid no travel directive with the absence of close family, we planned an impromptu non-holiday.  We grabbed easily accessible decorations and holiday reimagined traditions.  Lucky, between a stocked freezer and curbside delivery we recreated a summer version of the best day of the year. It was the perfect respite for our family. We have been blessed this year to spend time
with extended family being fully vaccinated but the charm of Christmas in July has now become a family tradition. Decorations are easily accessible Spode china, sterling flatware, and crystal stemware juxtaposed with a sparsely decorated miniature faux tree highlighting gifts ranging from the ridiculous to the treasured. We play Christmas music all day, singing badly and loudly, watch silly Hallmark movies and cook all day. We enjoy each others company  sharing memories of Christmas with family who have passed while making new memories for those of us who are able to be together. Traditions and future memories are being made. Blessings and good health to all of you as our family is celebrating Christmas In July.
