As things appear to be inching back to normal the James Taylor w/ special guest Jackson Browne concert, having been rescheduled twice, is now set for Aug. 13 at KFC Center.  Would certainly appreciate any lodging and places to eat suggestions.  The Galt House seems nice and convenient but judging by the rates they are proud of it.  Probably should have booked earlier when the final rescheduled date was set.

Searched the forum for other posts but not comfortable relying on 2009 chatter in this post COVID world.  Any helpful advice and suggestions is appreciated.

I have nothing on lodging although there are several downtown hotels within easy walking distance of the KFC Center.  Will get back regarding a few places to eat but what are your general food preferences?
Independent of anything else, you should take in a downtown distillery tour; Old Forester is a good one along with Angel's Envy.  FWIW-

I would stay at Distil and eat a steak at Repeal.  My favorite meal in town right now.  Brennan's catch 23 is good as well.  FABD if you want the best BBQ in my opinion.

A few of those may have perished due to COVID-19. I will try and find the list and make recommendations on what is left.
