I’ve been fortunate enough to have attended the tournament twice. First time was Sunday 2010 which is the last time Phil Mickelson won. The second time was Wednesday and Thursday 2019. This year I’m taking JT and Xander to win. Share your memories and what you are cooking this weekend. 

I’ve got ribs going right now. Using cherry and peach for smoke.

This is my second bottle. Love it. I really enojy it on my nut mixes too. Big fan of the S&P one too.

Never been.  Entered the lottery a few times - no luck.  Sure enjoy watching - Amen Corner in 4K right now.  Should be a great weekend.  Oh, I'll confess, I enjoy watching Bryce.

Been 4 times. One Monday for practice round, 3 Wednesdays for practice and Par 3 Tournament. The best memory is just walking through the gate and taking it all in. That place has a magic  all its own.

I have been once in 2010 went Thursday and Friday. If you enjoy golf put it on our bucket list and you will not regret it. Beautiful place to say the least. Planning on ribs for Saturday and pizza on the Ooni for the final round Sunday!! Enjoy fellas!!

I've been lucky enough to go 3 times: 2014 (Sat), 2016 (Sat) and 2017 (Sun). It was fun to watch Sergio and Rose battle it out in that playoff. It is my favorite sports week of the year!

Wish I had a Kobe brisket to celebrate Hideki but unfortunately all I have is this cheap Kroger one. I’ve had good luck with Costco Prime and SRF blacks lately so now to put my skills to the test with a “normal” grade.

Been stuck on 160 for about 2 hours. Just wrapped it up in some paper and threw it back on and bump temp up to 275 from 250.

Been to one tournament and numerous practice rounds. I have Zalatoris for the win.

Heartbrand dry aged strip and rib-eye for the final round. Plan is to reverse sear with a chunk of post oak

Wish Xander would have been able to hang around to keep the pressure on Hideki but a great finish none the less. Plus the $30 brisket turned out great.

@RRP There is a new place that opened up in Morton called Mussleman Meats. It’s a younger guy who bought and took over Lenny’s here in town. Lot’s of great stuff. Makes some really good in house ground burgers and brats. Not everything is always out in the coolers but if you ask he will probably have it in the back or will get it.

Thanks! I never heard of either Mussleman Meats, nor even Lenny’s for that matter! Got an address for Mussleman as well as hours? 

Since Rocke’s Meating Haus closed in Morton I have never been back to buy any meat!
