If you ever find yourself driving through Kansas and are even remotely near Emporia, do yourself a favor and go to the tiny town of Olpe, KS and eat at The Olpe Chicken House.  Best fried chicken between the Mississippi and Rockies. Nationally recognized little restaurant.
