Liz Cheney is now really going to roll in. Without hazarding a guess as to the D and R presidential nominees in 2024, but if the Rs serve up Cheeto she could run as an independent and siphon off enough votes to keep Cheeto from winning regardless of his lies and bogus claims.
Just like 1992 when Perot tossed the election to Bill Clinton. Fun time ahead.

I don't think that's her plan, lol. Her policy positions are plenty conservative. She won that same election in Wyoming a few years ago by a healthy margin. It's really just her opposition to Trump that has been an issue for her within the party and the state.

She's said she now plans to do everything she can to prevent him returning to the Oval Office so I wouldn't be surprised if she did run as an independent if Trumpy does get the GOP nod again.
I'd sign a petition to help her get ballot status in my state. Would probably donate a phat stack to her campaign too. Wouldn't vote for her but that's beside the point.

My guess: state and local repubs are there to foment division in the country, ensuring enough national repubs are re-elected to continue to funnel most of the wealth generated in this country to the top 1%.

I've witnessed, and been involved in, some futile investigations in the past but this is impressive. I am not certain I would announce the 'success' even accepting the political rhetoric. 20 charges does not mean 20 conviction, either.

Down here in "Floriduh" we call that grasping at straws to remain relevant. The "Election Integrity" banner on the podium is a nice touch. Love the "law and order" look he is projecting with 4 sheriffs deputies, inside a government building.

Yep, it does certainly skew R's and the funniest was regarding Mark Meadows, Trumps chief of staff and supporter of the Big Lie, who was investigated for voter fraud by registering to vote in two states - VA and NC. The address he used as his permanent residence in NC was an old mobile home that he never lived in or even visited. Neighbors say they saw his wife there on only two days.
Don't recall whatever came of that investigation.
