Game day ribs

So I was tasked with bringing ribs to my friends Super Bowl party tomorrow. I was wondering. Should I cut them before I get there or slice them there. Wasn’t sure if they would dry out or not.  Thanks for the help!

  • It’ll dry out so cut them there.

If I'm dropping off ,Personally I precut, 4 racks to a hotel pan and they are fine...if only a rack or 2 I'd cut there if I was staying ...usually just dropping off and don't trust other peoples cutting

I’m cooking 3 racks and staying.  I might cut first 2 and then wait and see if third is needing to be cut.

  • @Hook_emHornsfan_74 I usually cut them when time to eat. Usually cut just enough for everyone to get served then cut additional when they come back for seconds. Same for brisket, turkey, etc.  It just tastes better freshly cut to me.

We have COVID here.  Our numbers are really good here actually. There were only 9 of us.  We have a group that trusts everyone and is pretty responsible.  Plus some have already been vaccinated and others have already had it and have antibodies.

    Sounds good.

Quick question...which ones have already had it?

    The "responsible" ones?
