T-Bones For Supper Last Night

Yesterday morning Angie mentioned we haven't had steak in awhile.  She had a Dr. appointment in Omaha so I suggested she pick up a couple Porterhouses on the way home.  Turns out the butcher shop had choice T-bones on sale at $6.99/lb, so she got those instead.  The butcher raved about putting this garlic/herb butter on at the finish and talked her into buying a stick.
Seasoned with SPG and on they go, no forward or reverse searing, just straight up high heat...
Served with a salad (no pic) and cheesy rice/broccoli.  Leaning more towards medium than the desired med-rare, very tasty nonetheless.  Neither of us were impressed with the "special" butter.  Not likely to use it on steak again.
And there was stop in Gretna on her way home, a couple Cinnabons for dessert...

    They look awesome.
I have tried the Kerrygold garlic and herb butter and didn't like it, I wound throwing the stick out.

T-bones and Cinnabon.  That might be a new standard to which I can aspire.  I'm not sure there's a meal out there that I would enjoy more.

Odd, that's usually pretty good.  I'd assume you just got a bad stick, maybe it went unrefrigerated for a spell.
