What is the new (new to me) small gray “ACCEPTED ANSWER “ and such signs showing up???

When creating a new discussion there is an option to “Ask a Question “. Once the OP gets an acceptable answer they have the ability to acknowledge the acceptable answer thus leaving the notification box
