Let me know how you like those irons. I need to upgrade mine. At first look, I thought first pic was a 68 degree wedge. lol.billt01 said:Because the bourbon cabinet is full, I’ve decided to throw funds into the woods and water…

@Battleborn, it hurt my soul when I went in and asked for the senior flex golf shafts..Battleborn said:

that being said, they are very forgiving for my amateur status.
I am really impressed with that Jailbird putter, very balanced with a great contact face..
Golf has got expensive in the last 20 years, this is an upgrade from some 25 year old Ping Eye 2's black dots i hadHave:
XLBGE / Stumps Baby XL / Couple of Stokers (Gen 1 and Gen 3) / Blackstone 36 / Maxey 3x5 water pan hog cooker
Had:
LBGE / Lang 60D / Cookshack SM150 / Stumps Stretch / Stumps Baby
Fat Willies BBQ

I’m in the mood for new irons as well, just havent quite found my swing yet after taking 5 months off post surgery. The Callaway Rogues will continue to service my poor game
-
@billt01 I have a feeling that the Eye 2 wedge will find its way to the new bag. That wedge is hard to beat even today. Congrats on the new sticks.
-
I have those pings f-430 ... they are marvelous clubs.
Also, what wedge did you get ... I have the Cleveland Full Face 2's, which I absolutely love (52, 56, 60 degree).Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ! -
I’m rocking some Callaway X-16’s. They were due for replacement when I got them. I just got back into the game a couple of months ago. I think once I can get into the 90’s I’ll upgrade.Las Vegas, NV

I left the mid 80’s and found the mid 90’s + after surgery. Took 5 lessons and spent a lot of time grinding on the iron game on the range. It’s getting better, still not back
-
the set came with a Ping 41(W), 45(GW), and a 50(S).Mark_B_Good said:I have those pings f-430 ... they are marvelous clubs.

That said, still shopping for woods due to the fact that between the putter, 3W, and 4-5W..those 3 clubs will be more than the new set of irons...
I'm not even entertaining a driver...I couldn't hit it when I was 30 years younger, so I will concede that club accuracy will continue to elude me..I'll just make up with the iron play which is much more consistent than me off a tee box.Have:

Entertain a 7W. It’s probably my favorite club in the bag

Especially with a 5W shaft.ColbyLang said:Entertain a 7W. It’s probably my favorite club in the bag -
A heaven wood if you will
-
Bingo. Those were killer.ColbyLang said:A heaven wood if you will -
Do yourself a favor ... get one wedge, just one. Cleveland Full Face 2, 60 degree. It is lethal from 60 yards in ... once you get the hang of it.billt01 said:

Picked up a used Vitamix 5200 off eBay.
First it is way larger than I imagined! Don’t have near enough counter space to leave it out.
Second, holy smokes!! Doesn’t compare to any other blender I have ever had. This thing is a beast! Smoothest frozen drinks, salsa, whatever! This thing eats! I’ve had blenders double this cost (compared to my price used off eBay) that are a joke compared to this!
If there ever comes a time I get rabies, you are high on my Bitin’ List. -
When my first "final lifetime buy" KitchenAid blender crapped out and was unrepairable, I looked at the Vitamixes. I knew the regular one was too tall to fit under my overhead cupboards; Vitamix also offered a "Short" jar but it wouldn't fit, either. I ended up getting another KitchenAid, and the specs stated it was 1/8" too tall to fit under my cupboard, I figured I'd just pull the lid off and drop it into the jar for stowage, but it was a soft plastic top and could be coaxed under. My mixer has about 2" clearance, food processor about 3/4", and the blender has -1/16"!Ozzie_Isaac said:Picked up a used Vitamix 5200 off eBay.

(that blender works just fine for me, but despite having just one dial and one button, is the most infuriatingly unintuitive and frustrating thing to operate of all time! We're entering fresh salsa season now, so it'll come back to me, but dayam they must've TRIED to make it hard to work!)Counting to ten only makes it Premeditated.

The fact that you can have a piping hot soup in six-ish minutes is sorcery! -
New tires for my F150. Love how long the factory tires last these days.

That’s going to cost a lot of bread!ColbyLang said:New tires for my F150. Love how long the factory tires last these days. -
My 4runner tires had 60k on them before I changed them. Probably could have gone 65 but I had a big road trip planned and worked around that timing. Wiper blades though, don’t get me started on wiper blades.ColbyLang said:New tires for my F150. Love how long the factory tires last these days.South of Columbus, Ohio. -
31,000 on these. Pathetic. Rotated at 5,000 miles religiously. Going one size bigger and one size wider. AT’s. Opted for standard load vs 10 ply cus I don’t want an extra 12# per tire and don’t necessarily need E rated tires for my one mile commute.alaskanassasin said:

have had a problem after flushing once with my dakota (everything but the motor was replaced in that, trans, rear end, front end, transfer case). when the transfer case went it locked up for a few seconds, did a 360 spin on a highway at about 50 mph while pulling a trailer, straightened out and was on my way
just missed a full logging truck driving towards me in the oncoming lane. might go the drain and refill with this one though. dads tundra is at about 330k miles on it, never been touched. ive never touched the trans fluid in any other vehicle fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -

Totally get it. You are doing the heavy lifting out there. Most of the populace has zero appreciation for your challenges to keep their surrounding neighbourhoods (nod) and greater communities safe and livable. Glad you and those of your profession make it happen.Battleborn said:

Las Vegas does present a heightened environment for those challenges.
Stay healthy and safe out there.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
A bit pricey by I have a 09 Tundra which is on its second set and a 2019 4 Runner we just put set #2 on..ColbyLang said:
