Thanks for sharing those, I haven’t decided what to get put on SWMBOs 4Runner yet. She likes the looks of the nfab type step bars but wants more surface area to step onto. I’ve been looking at the rhino rb10 boards.

I assume 99% of pawnshop tools are stolen.  The other 1% were found.

I've been hard on my Makita over the years and it doesn't skip a beat. The thing looks brand new. You should get many, many years out of it.

My wife really likes the looks of the running boards. I told her I would put them on her car if she likes them that much ;-)

@alaskanassasin I appreciate the offer! Keep me posted and I’ll ask the wife if she likes the look of those or not. If so, I’d be happy to pay for them.

Unless they actually used that big a$$ bit for something and overstressed the shaft. I'll give you $10 for the grinder, you can keep the rest.

Washer and dryer… That was both expected and unexpected after over 10 years of service.  I was fully expecting the washer to quit first but no, it was the dryer.  I repaired it a couple of years ago (replaced the element) but knowing that the washer is also overdue I’ve decided to replace them.

Any suggestion?  I need front load AND stackable.  They all seem to have bad reviews.  Crossing fingers that wait time won’t be too long.

The Man in the Brown Shorts™ just delivered my new 16" Macbook Pro!
It is replacing an eleven-year-old Macbook Air, with an orphaned (10.10) OS, couldn't talk to my bank or even Wikipedia, overheated on many websites, 80-minute battery life, and could only click on things with the bottom-left corner of the trackpad. Think I got my money's worth on that one...
Its charging now, was surprised at how heavy it is.

Fresh flowers are a staple as of late.

I tell my wife they’re for her, but I really buy them for myself.

(Edit: …And I think she’s on to me.)

Hi Paqman, With something like washer and dryers I buy strictly based on reliability.
I’ve always wanted stackable to use that space for something else.  Like you have observed, the ratings and reviews have dissuaded me.

There’s a YouTube guy obsessive about washers who rants about any front loading washer…  how none of them use enough water to really get the soap residue out or clothes clean.  He claims there’s 1 brand of top loading washers that still does but it wasn’t a brand common enough to remember.

In any event, the reliability data in 2015 led me to choose Whirlpool.  I believe the worst being Samsung.
I do use and like the “Steam clean” feature of the Whirlpool washer and dryer.
Since seeing that YouTube guy’s rants about how little water modern washers use in the default setting, I always set it to “extra rinse” and soil = heavy.

Let us know what you choose!

Don’t give it too much thought, Pete. I keep my cabinets plenty stocked as well. 😉

I’m pretty sure that money isn’t a concern for this guy from what he’s posted on here.
