Punkin pie

Made this for my wife who is 32 weeks pregnant. We had to spend thanksgiving in the hospital but she is doing good now. She was pretty upset about missing thanksgiving at her parents so this was a nice little surprise that cheered her up. I used a Pinterest recipe for the pie then just copied a bunch of different pictures I found for the stuff on top. I’ve never been much of a baker but this turned out pretty good.

    Nice!!
I read about adding fine ground black pepper to pumpkin pie.
I do more baking than grilling and bring a lot of baked goods to work for taste testing. I tried the pepper and nobody was told but everyone said it was better than pie without pepper.

That’s interesting. For some reason that makes sense to me. I guess it’s goes together with all the other spices really well
