Put on a nice Prime Brisket last night with my FB 500 driving.
Discovered I had a very loose food probe wire.

Sent email to FB last night...
Return email first thing this morning.

Sorry to hear you had an issue with your probe when using your Flame Boss® controller. We are sending you a probe under warranty replacement.

It was still functional but seemed off a little. So I plugged in a second probe. Few minutes later it failed.
Even a good product can fail. Always good to have back up probes.
Had a very early stall, around 150 degrees. Starting to climb again. Hope I don’t hit a second stall.

Brisket looks killer !

My FB probes are like that, my FB acted up as well, swapped probes same ( mine was pit probe ) FB sent me a new controller, excellent service !

I have the Egg Genius version and they sent me a new probe right away.  Great customer service.

Yup, they push right back in , just not a good crimp I guess....

Agree, not good crimp. Never had an issue with crimps on my older FB probes. Just a bad batch I guess.

After following so many great tips from this forum about brisket, all turned out great!
It looks dry in the photos but it was very juicy. Nice crust flavor.
I rushed wrapping and into cooler as we needed to travel with it, but it was still 8-9 out of 10.
The point was money.

Tracking this morning for new probes sent at no charge from Flame Boss.

I have, plus ordered extras ....only thing I don't have back up is the controller itself, extra fan extra probes ,you never know
