Those look awesome. I have recently done a couple of batches of those mushrooms and they are awesome - especially if you stick to the recipe. As might be expected, if you try to take some shortcuts based on time or ingredient availability on a given day the outcome can vary - but they are still good.

This is the recipe I have used for years! When finished I separate it all, complete with properly proportioning the liquid and then freeze them using Food Saver bags after I have left the bags open.

My recommendation is to follow the recipe I posted the link to above and don't be afraid of committing to the full inital 4 pounds of mushrooms.
