New Oak top table for BGE

Hi All from Czech Republic,
just wanted to thank all of you here for great pictures and ideas of your Egg tables. I just made my own version based on the tables in here. Frame is from larch wood, panels and shelfs from some spruce and top is out of Oak and cherry stripes. All is done with traditional methods of joinery.
I fitted it with some ceramic tiles that I have lying around, for hot stuff from the grill. I hope it will work just fine for our needs. Finally we have some nice outdoor kitchen table!
P. S. Happy wife and grumpy cat approved it.

Beautiful work! That's very impressive made from all solid wood. I also like the table in the last picture. Did you build that, too?

I hope someone sawed those planks for you! Are the boards of the top glued up? I see a cabinet scraper... so, that probably made it much easier...

Welcome aboard. I'm looking forward to seeing you post some cooks. If your attention to detail in cooking is even half what it is when making furniture then we're in for a treat.

Nice, very nice. The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.
