    Nope, Obama was already directly tied to Ayers and had a standing history with him, UNLIKE Trump and neo nazis. 

    Obama was forced to cut ties because he already had them Trump has no history whatsoever in this respect.

    If Trump had a long association with a guy who’d bombed abortion clinics, I don’t think people would say, ‘That’s ancient history.’ But if Obama had long associated with a guy that bombed federal buildings, you will say he didn't know him that well and does not currently associate with him.

    I guess Obama again downplayed these relationships and ended them after he was a nominee. The fact remains YOU all gave him a pass saying that was in the past and not reflective of him NOW.

    Again, would you do the same if Trump has ties to people calling for the removal of blacks from the country or talking about how horrible the black community is?

    I’ll bite.  Did Obama pander to them, say and do things that were divisive that appealed to their radical perspectives?  I don’t think it’s about who likes you, it’s about who you court, who you like liking you.
    I’m not sure I really understand your full point, the double standard.  Do you think Obama got a pass on this compared to Trump?  A$$holes are constituents too, but do you listen to them or do you use them ?  I have to say, I didn’t pay the same attention to the political climate when Obama was in office.  I remember some, but not most of this and couldn’t really say if it looked like he was pandering to thee groups, siding with their extremist views, using them to foment divisiveness, etc.

    So, what is your point, that Trump is being unfairly judged by his associations?
