My Mini got Guts

Old fire ring in 3 pieces and firebox in 2.  Walked into my dealer that is also a distributor and 5 mins walked out with new parts.  They inspected for smoke stains on the breaks but no issues. 

Ain’t she purty?

    Now I’m trying to get help from a brand new Ace store that just opened. Has not gone well so far. 
    Helps to have a backup grill at time like this.

    My dealer says that a crack doesn’t count until it’s in 2 pieces unless it’s a shell piece.  They inspect for smoke seepage on the broken edges.  This is how they determine if it’s failure or user caused.  They also make you turn in the broken parts.  

    All that said I have no complaints with their policy.  They are good people

    Beautiful! I have a replacement band set sitting in my basement for my mini that I'll get around to changing one day. Took a few weeks to get it through warranty, but sounds like you have it made!

    I noticed a crack in my large. My wife brought a pic of the crack and a pic of the receipt to our dealer and they’ve got one coming our way. No questions...I guess dealers are all different.

    Looks good!  I just ordered new guts for my mini. I bought mine used so not warranty but not off the charts expensive being a mini.  Really getting stoked for the mini having modified my stand and begetting new guts.  I may just have to give it a new gasket too....just for fun.
