Got a PS Woo with Extender today for the large egg. Something I've been meaning to get for a long time. Excited to get to cooking on this.

I bought the PS Woo ~2 years ago with two half stones.  6 months later gave away the Plate Setter as I never used it.

Went back a few months ago to the store bought the extender and the oval stone.  Still havent used the extender- could have but keep forgetting I own it.

Does the CGS stones provide less of an air gap compared to the Plate Setter?

The two half stones leave only about 1/2" around the edge.  Actually I think this set up is a bit restrictive so I  bought the.....

The Oval Stone which is likely similar to the Plate Setter but I like the edge to edge more for Ribs and such where as the PlateSetter being a triangle didnt quite cover edge to edge.

Do you put the half stones directly on the PSWOO?  I have seen a video of Tom from CGS using half stones with a PSWOO, but he used a spider to hold the stones.  Thanks.

I got the whole set up for my XL this month. Spider, 2 half stones, extender, extra half stone and a half grid. Used the extender twice when doing wings so I could get em up in the dome. No complaints yet!!

He sold me this triangle shape that goes in the circles to match the Plate Setter.  I just put my 1/2 circles or oval on that.

I dont see it on the store anymore looks like this

Depends on the size pizza stone you use. If you are doing lower temp cooks you don’t need a large gap and the added indirect coverage is nice. Hotter cooks, I use a smaller stone.

Thanks @xfi@xfire_ATX .   They have changed the design - the one I have and the ones they sell now have V notches where yours has the three U shaped indentions.

No, he has an extender add on sitting on top his PS Woo. 2 separate items.
    Great set up.
