SmHATCHburgers on Hokkaido Milk Buns

This weekend I got the call for Smashburgers. I like ‘em and make them pretty regularly. One thing that has always made them better from my perspective is Hatch Chiles. Luckily, I had some in the freezer. Score. 

One of you (EDIT: two actually, @paqman and @The Cen-Tex Smoker ) recently posted a Smashburger cook featuring Hokkaido milk buns. Now, I’m normally not one for baking but this video inspired me to give it a shot.

Here’s the results.  I ate two.  




While the buns were a lot of work, they were pretty easy and very tasty. Give them a shot.
