I ran some on chicken last night and dang it was salty. I will try it again on something but I may have to tap.
Always taste new rubs. Simply apply a lighter coat.

Traeger has a chicken rub that’s the same way. Ruin a meal if you apply like some other rubs, but excellent if you use it sparingly.

Not my style. Thanks for the advice though.

Surprised to see this post up on the first page!! I had a RUB problem (too many) so tossed many and try to only hold 3 or so . . Holy Voodoo made the cut, for wings and basic grill chank it is my go-to when I haven’t put much thought into a dish.

  • Tried the Holy Voodoo on a grilled Snapper filet.  Excellent.
