What are you guys having good luck with these days? I am on my second one from company X and it's 60deg off on the low side.

The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

I have always had good luck with the BGE branded Tel-Tru analog gauges. I single point check three of them frequently and have only had to make around a 6-8 *F adjustment once in around 10 years. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I've never bothered to test it for accuracy.

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -

Mine likely worked fine, but I wanted one I could see easier from my Kitchen window. I went into the dealer looking for that smokeware shown by @ColtsFan but ended up with a larger BGE version. Checked in water, works great and frankly it doesnt loosen up all the time like the original one did.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
I like the smokeware. I went for matching black ones.

Does anybody make a digital one you can plop in there that is weather proof with a long lasting battery?

Same with me. The Smokeware one I bought doesn't seem to be of good quality. It would be nice if someone built a quality one that stays accurate and would last!
I love my Smokeware cap!Northern Colorado Egghead since 2012.

I went with the BGE / Sweetwater edition as well. It was cheaper than a 3” replacement one at my local dealer and I love Sweetwater.
