I have wondered about the Honda trucks also, but to me, they are only a truck in the most literal sense. I think having a bed qualifies it as a truck. Everything else about it is decidedly not. It has no frame.JethroBodeen said:Two negatives total. Honda trucks?
It would be good for a quick trip to the home center, but not anything else that a normal truck would be useful for.
With that being said, my uncle owns a current-generation Honda truck and he is very satisfied, however, as real truck needs are very minimal. -
Honda doesn't make a truck.JethroBodeen said:Two negatives total. Honda trucks? -
This made me kinda chuckle. Back somewhere in '86 or so, I drove a used Saab, which could actually fit a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood if I laid both back seats down, and did so, many times. I also brought home eight railroad ties with the same vehicle, although it took two trips as more than five ties caused my suspension to bottom out, parked.GregW said:

A pickup truck, is what you make it.

In 1969 sold new Hi-Lux’s for $1200. no a/c, no radio, & no rear bumper. 46 years later that’s what i bought to retire with. 2014 TRD 4x4 now at 90+k.Can’t count the number of Taco’s traded in with 250+k miles that we resold and stayed on the road for years and years.Buy the Taco.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Agreed. Also note that Elon uses the same sail design in his truck to strengthen it. Not a great design for a truck IMO.Spaightlabs said:

most people dont actually use a truck as a truck, they just want a truck. i wouldnt rule out a honda faux truck if there were just one or two times a year i needed an actual truck. a home depot delivery with a rented truck is 19 bucks
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Maybe they dont anymore but they kinda use too........Just kidding of course, never owned a Honda anything. I have more miles on an HD then most put on cars or trucks.Spaightlabs said:
