Frozen Pork Belly

About a month ago my cousin and i opted to get our own pork belly to make out own bacon. That part of it went well. However i told him to het me two extra belly so i could make some into cubes and make on my egg. He did just what i asked and got two extra but he cut them in halves and stacked them on top on one another and put them in the freezer. So i have a 9 lb that he cut in half and a 12 lb cut in half and froze. Whats the best way to separate them without ruining the other half because im sure 4 1/2 lbs at a time will be more than enough for just my wife and I??? Once meat is thawed and separated i dont think i can refreeze again correct???
thanks for the help ahead of time!!!

put in fridge for a while, pork thaws fast, before it softens slide a chefs knife between and twist ....Visalia, Ca @lkapigian

+1 separate them when semi frozen, refreeze the half you don't need, should be fine imo.
Not same as refreezing something fully thawed at RT for extended period.canuckland
