OT - “Ford v Ferrari“ movie

A movie worth watching if you haven’t seen it, IMO. Even if you’re not a car buff. Really well rated on Rotten Tomatoes.

Although having owned a few Mustangs, maybe I’m biased. 😊

Not a big movie watcher these days as they retreaded the same themes too many times IMO. This one however was on my list. Thanks for the heads up.

For reference, I see maybe one movie in theatre a year. I’m not really a movie guy - so many are tired and uninspired. For me, this one was really worth seeing. You will definitely enjoy it.

I think the book was better. There weren't any real bad guys in it, which they created for the movie. That said, it was good.

I am very surprised this took so long to be made into a movie. This was a huge deal in the 60s. For Hollywood's version of actual events; they did a pretty good job....definitely worth seeing.

  • There are a lot of truly exceptional movies that come out every year but there is far more garbage, including many of those raking in all the money. I see about one to two movies a month and am convinced if you can't find good, enjoyable or engaging movies in the theater on a regular basis you're simply choosing the wrong ones.

  • Excellent movie, my wife and I loved it.
  • Glad to hear the strong reviews for this one.   It looked really good to me based on the trailers.

Very good documentary on Ford's 2016 return to Le Mans, 50 years after their 1-2-3 finish in '66.

It is hard to find in theaters around these parts.  Bummed because I wanted to see it.  Some Star Trek movie or something has infiltrated every screen within 30 miles.
