Smokeware Customer Service, Treated Me Right

I checked my various dome thermometers yesterday, detailed in a separate post.  My test showed my Smokeware unit read low by about 20'.  After reading the feedback to my post I decided to contact Smokeware.

Well, turns out my Smokeware thermometer was purchased in July of 2016 and thus well past the 1 year warranty.  They also verified that my model is non-adjustable.  However, they offered me a new thermo (this one is made in the USA and adjustable) for a price of $15.  For me this was a most impressive and surprising response by them.  My replacement has been ordered.

Nice to see a business that cares about their customers.  I feel they deserve a shout-out letting others know of my experience.

The replacement arrived today, it is adjustable and even has a calibration dot on the dial.  Looks to be accurate.
