Happy Thanksgiving All,
I wanted to get the forums advice on temperature control units. Which is a better for briskets/ butts  the Egg Genius or DigiQ? Let me know your thoughts and or experiences with either device?

    Egg Genius is a FlameBoss 400 with one extra feature (and it's green.)  There is also a FlameBoss 500 that has a big 64-character dot matrix screen and can monitor 3 meats without splitter cables.  All three connect to your wifi, direct connect to the app, and can auto update the firmware.  

    The FB's are light-years ahead of the Digi-Q.  That thing has been around for 10+ without any updates.  It has a 3 character screen calculator type screen, one meat probe, and does not connect to the internet.  BGE used to private label it, but they switched to FB a few years ago.
