I've had my egg for about 3 years and decided I finally needed to register it but I can't seem to find my eggID. Any specifics on where on the egg I can find it? Thanks!

Serial I believe is on the inside of the lid ....

The one that I have that has an i.d., I believe was on the back of the Egg probably behind the top ring of the firebox......

It’s on the inside of the lid.

Mine was registered but they still wanted a receipt. I don’t know what registering does for you.

All depends on your dealer. I didn’t know I was supposed to register my egg when I bought it. I’ve had 3 warranty claims and never had a problem or had to show my receipt. Guess it helps when you know your dealer though.

Funny how times have changed, huh?

I bought all 4 of my eggs between 20 and 16 years ago. Back then some eggs ANYBODY bought MIGHT have a cookbook with it that had a card in the front to tear out, sign and put a stamp on to mail. Others had no "cookbook with said card", but the dealer you bought it from was all the warranty needed.

Now...oh never mind...

In Ca and Quebec products do not have to be registered to receive full warranty , however you must show you are the original owner...this goes for any product

Receipt is all I have ever used for warranty claims..

I keep several copies of the original receipt.  I had to replace dome, and dealer had me take a pic of the casting number inside the rear of dome, beside original receipt.
