OT - New Skill to learn....Great Knife Sharpening
Comments
-
I have 400, 2000, and 8,000 grit stones. I’ve used the 400 once to correct a chipped blade. Otherwise, I use the 2000 to sharpen and 8000 to shine the edge up. Great meditation time.

Like Bosch said, you will sharpen all your knives and scissors within an hour with a WorkSharp. All of them. It is a good tool for mass sharpening. I use one for my kitchen knives. Quick and convenient.
For my hunting knives (for skinning, quartering and processing), I use a whetstone and use oil on the stone. I get those knives where they can shave a sliver off a hair. I like them super sharp for skinning. Animal hair will dull a knife faster than paper.Aledo, Texas
