Jerk Chick and (near fail) Chips

Threw a Walkerswood marinated cornish hen on the mini pellet pooper (Ranger).

Also wanted to try the new rotisserie basket ... chopped some taters into wedges, seasoned with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, s+p ans some random rub ... damn fool, didn't pay attention to the large gap between bars and some wedges started falling out at the get go, panicked but managed to control the damage by inserting skewers into sides of basket, phew! Time to get a Napoleon basket which I really like.

btw, love the indirect setup, great way to use up pea gravel sized lumps. Due to the compactness and restricted air flow, the lumps next to the fence burn red hot while those near the firebox are almost unlit. IMO heat concentrated towards the centre is efficient and ideal for rotisserie cooking.
