My First Time Smoking/Drying Peppers

I had some extra Serrano and Jalapeno peppers from the garden, decided to give the Egg a shot at them. LBGE set up indirect at 190-200' with maple wood chunks.
After 11 hours the Serranos were dryed nicely, the Jalapenos still had a ways to go. But it was midnight and I was ready for bed so shut down the Egg and took the peppers inside. Finished the Jalapenos this morning in the oven, 190' for about 3 hours. Some pics......

Nice job. Like @lousubcap says you will enjoy the outcome. I followed his lead and still have chili powder up to my ears. Lol

Looks awesome. I've never used the egg or oven to dry peppers. I have a dehydrator with multiple levels though. I throw jalapenos, serranos, cayennes, and ghost peppers in there to dry and then crush them up for "crushed red pepper flakes" that are actually hot!Large - Mini - Blackstone 17", 28", 36"
