Birthday present

My wife gave me this Joe Jr. for my birthday. Anybody have any must have accessories? Tips for temp control? Favorite things to cook on it?
I normally use a LBGE so I assume this is a little different. Thanks in advance!

Nice!  I use a mini max.  I was normally cooking on a large.  Everything is pretty much the same.  I do run out of lump on longer cooks.  I did buy a CGS setup for mine.  Enjoy!

Great B'day gift.  There are several here who own and use one (not me).
Congrats on the successful completion of another lap of the sun.  Enjoy the flexibility of two cookers.

  • That grill is nice and won't cook much different than an Egg, but those kids are cute as bugs...

It comes with the little elevated cooking thing like a woo and a small stone for indirect right? Mine did when I got it years ago. That’s all I ever needed to cook anything I wanted on it. Maybe a 2nd small stone if you want to do pizzas sometime. Congrats and happy birthday.
