My mobile kamado cart table.

So I got tired of having to go in the house to cook lunch/dinner when we are up at our lake house. I have 2 BGE’s at home in my outdoor kitchen, so I knew I wanted kamado grills. I was worried about the weight and fragility of ceramics in a mobile cart, so I checked out the steel Akorns and decided they would fit the bill. They are light, and wont crack. I built the cart over the course of 3 days and then sanded and varnished it each evening after work last week. The table is built on a 1400lb rated lawn and garden cart.

We have to pull it up and down a steep hill from our house to our dock. So far this weekend it has been awesome. We’ve done ribeyes, chicken thighs, sausage, pork belly burnt ends, and there is 3 racks of baby backs on right now. We’re getting gluttonous at the lake now!!!

I also bought the battery powered Guru controller so once I get the temps stabilized I turn it on and we can go off in the boat and I don’t worry too much about temps.

Im on mobile so blame that on any formatting issues. Pics showed up out of order.
