we just got back from chicago so had to make some kind of attempt. Meatheads recipe with several improv’s. Used a tri tip. Erin approved so I’m happy. Pics all kinda out of order. My apologies. She did have sweet peppers and Giardiniera on hers. I had sweet jalapenos on mine.

We just hit portillos when we were in elmhurst. We stayed on my cousins boat in the harbor and had italian beef pizza delivered to us.

That looks great. Portillos is so delicious! Never had a bad meal at any one of them. I like your focus on the gravy.
