No. Perhaps a minor player in this but not a disrupter in my opinion. I can see them trying to give me “Apple Bucks” instead of miles and cash back.

Is this where I should inquire if my next cell phone (with a much better camera-but it is the operator...) should be an iphone or stick with android (Samsung)?? The issue is not worth its own thread and I am not hard-over with either option.

Brother Frank......this is off topic....you can ask anything you want (well except if it is to see naked breast, discuss politics, name calling, Komoda Juniors, Delivery Companies......well nevermind.)
You have a valid question.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

Their angle is less likely to be disruptive in the consumer space, but data acquisition and consumer behavior monitoring.
I suspect that Apple has found an advantageous way to curate purchasing information by using phone data. Could be GPS, app data or something else entirely.XL & MM BGE, 36" Blackstone - Newport News, VA -

I do have to learn two different operating systems, but each get closer and closer to each other as they steal from each other, that's not a big issue even for a dummy like me.

Always spend other people's money and settle up at the end of the month. You miss out on a lot of perks by using a debt card, plus it's more risky since it's directly tied to your personal bank account. I don't care if someone steals my Visa card number... it ain't my money.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave -

If you like borrowing for your needs, I say go for it. It’s just not for me. -
I'll stick with Diners Club.
On topic of phones, go with a Google Pixel 3. Iphones are way over priced. With Googles phone you can buy this and next generations phone for the price of one Iphone.

If you use a credit (or debit) card regularly and watch yourself stick the card with the chip into various readers throughout the day, and you don't think that's going to change/evolve, then you're just not thinking that hard."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike
