I just looked up the Ranger. Looks similar. Same size, different controls. It was kinda cool.

That looks like what they call a Traeger PTG+. They retail for $299.

I've never caught the pellet bug but that thing looks really neat. I may grab one of those as a tailgater/beach grill.

After watching the review @Canugghead linked to, the tito's version was definitely the scout or some variant of it. The Ranger is the way to go. 8lb hopper as opposed to 4 on the scout and it has much better digital controls     ( +/- 5 degrees on the Ranger vs. +/- 25 degrees on the scout).

I like the looks of the Ranger. It comes with the griddle, has a bigger pellet capacity, and more temp control.

be aware that review says two temp probes/ports, it's actually one only.
